One of the best lead-out men in the peloton and a strong rider for the Classics, Dries Van Gestel will remain a member of the Wolfpack for the next two years.
The 31-year-old Belgian, who came aboard at the beginning of 2025, has consistently demonstrated his abilities and invaluable experience, while the strong partnership he has forged out together with Paul Magnier in the bunch sprints has led to numerous victories for the team in the past twelve months.
Professional since 2016, Dries is now in his second World Tour season, and while he is gearing up for the last races of the year with the team, he is already looking forward to next season, when he hopes to help Soudal Quick-Step rack up more wins in some of the biggest races in the world.
“I’m delighted to extend my contract. I enjoyed a lot these past two years and had a lot of fun with the team in the races. It was nice to be part of the squad in so many victories, I loved that winning feeling and I hope to enjoy more success with the team in the future. I’m proud to be part of the Soudal Quick-Step family and I can’t wait for next season, which we all hope will be another strong and rewarding one of our team”, Dries said after signing this new agreement.
