After a long period out with injury, Tim Merlier made the ultimate comeback by taking Scheldeprijs – his third victory in a row at Flanders’ oldest race.
One of the fastest sprinters in the world showed his power once more, launching his sprint from 250 meters to go and dashing all the way to the line for an important win for the team.
