Following his crash in Sunday’s In Flanders Fields – From Middelkerke to Wevelgem, Laurenz Rex has undergone examinations at the University Hospital in Leuven.
An MRI has shown that he suffered a dislocation to his right knee, which has caused bone and ligament damage, and will require surgery. This will take place on Tuesday morning, in Leuven.
