Following an examination it has been revealed that the Belgian is suffering from a herniated disk.
Due to the severity of this injury, Warre will have an infiltration at Herentals on Thursday and then will take several weeks to recuperate.
“I have had some pain in my back and it’s disappointing, as I felt I was in good shape and with good morale. But it just means that we move my post-Classics race period earlier and I can work on my comeback and stick to my original season plan”, Warre said.
