Our feeder team will fight for both stage victories and a good result in the overall ranking in France.

The young wolves return to action at one of the biggest races on the U23 calendar, the Tour de Bretagne. Created in 1967 and formerly known as the Ruban Granitier Breton, the seven-day event holds its 60th edition between 25 April and 1 May, and Soudal Quick-Step Devo aims to be a key protagonist there, just like last year. In 2025, Federico Savino impressed on the hilly roads of the region and finished a strong fourth overall, just three seconds from the podium, for Italy’s best GC result there this century.

Now in his fourth season with our feeder squad, the versatile Italian is back at the start with the hope of fighting again for a good general classification. The 21-year-old from Pisa will be joined by a strong roster consisting of Boucle de l’Artois winner Cériel Desal, Luc Royer, Joeri Schaper - who concluded fourth at Paris-Roubaix two weeks ago - Matijs Van Strijthem, and Marc Zafra.

We go with a lot of motivation to this race, one of the hardest and most important on the U23 scene.

“Three stages could come down to a bunch sprint, and Matijs will be our leader for those days. On the other four stages, containing lots of hills, we have many riders who can try their chance and seize an opportunity if it arises. The course is up-and-down all the time there, but we can be in the mix on a regular basis. For the general classification, we’ll support Federico, who knows the roads and is determined to give his best for another good result”, explained sports director Eliot Lietaer.
