Silver medalist in the Junior time trial race at both the European and World Championships two years ago, Jasper has since transformed into a rider made for the one-day races. It took just a year in the Soudal Quick-Step Devo jersey for the young Belgian to show what he’s capable of, as he demonstrated that he can perform there but also in stage races, where he’s capable of a strong effort after a hard day in the saddle or a long breakaway.
In what will be his second season with our feeder squad, Jasper is motivated to show just how much he has improved over the past twelve months and aim for more solid results – including at Paris-Roubaix Espoirs, a race which is close to his heart – but also looks forward to joining the World Tour team for a number of pro races.
