The experienced Molly, as the riders and other members of the staff affectionately call him, started out in the team as a soigneur in 2003, and long before we launched our development team, he was involved together with Koen Pelgrim and Tom Steels in organizing testing days for the best juniors of the moment.
Molly is responsible for discovering many of the riders who have built an impressive career in the World Tour, such as two-time World Champion Julian Alaphilippe or Rémi Cavagna, and in recent years he continued to work tirelessly, spotting young talents and bringing them into our feeder team, from where many of them made the step up to the pro ranks.
“I’m only a piece of the big story, but I love what I am doing and I’m proud to be part of this team. I am constantly searching for riders who have the character and the potential to do something in cycling, but at the same time, once they join our organisation, I want to give them any support they need and show to those young guys that this team is a real family.”
