Despite a crash in the final corner of 124km Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey Stage 7 on Saturday, Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team rider Nikolas Maes managed to finish 10th.
OPQS had control of the peloton in the final 2km, but as the race hit the final kilometer, some chaos ensued. Many of the top sprinters went down, but Marcel Kittel (Argos-Shimano) won the stage. Andrea Guardini (Astana) was 2nd and Ariel Maximiliano Richeze (Lampre-Merida) 3rd.
OPQS looks next to the final, 121km stage on Sunday.
