AG Insurance – Soudal continued to develop in 2024, a season which saw the riders of the now World Tour team hit new heights and take a total of 11 victories. One of the most resounding of these was Sarah Gigante’s overall triumph at her home race – the Tour Down Under – where the Aussie tamed the slopes of Willunga Hill – which was followed a couple of months later by Kim Le Court’s historic Giro d’Italia stage win.
But the cherry on the cake was Justine Ghekiere’s amazing performance on arguably the biggest stage of the year, the Tour de France, where the ambitious Belgian seized the day from the break in Le Grand-Bornand – a success that helped her take home the prestigious polka dot jersey. That victory, together with a number of solid outings for AG Insurance – Soudal and the national team, was the reason for the numerous end-of-the-season awards received by the always-smiling 28-year-old, one of the best riders of the year.
In 2025, the squad will be made up of 19 riders coming from 12 different countries, a strong group that is prepared to take on new challenges and new goals for the team, which will once again try to be among the protagonists and show the Wolfpack spirit in every event it will compete in.
