Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team rider Dries Devenyns continues to do well at the Tour of Austria, finish 4th place as the peloton completely shattered on the ascent of brutal Kitzbüheler Horn (9.7km, 12.9% average gradient, +22% max ramp) to the finish of Stage 2 on Monday.

Devenyns did not have it easy, having to contend with three Astana riders who managed to bridge to each other in the final kilometers in support of GC leader Kevin Seeldraeyers.

Still, Devenyns earned a top five finish, 26" back from Seeldraeyers. Alexandr Dyachenko of Astana was 2nd, and teammate Fabio Aru was 3rd.

This is the second straight 4th place finish for Devenyns. OPQS looks next to a 119.7km Stage 3 on Tuesday, with just two categorized climbs early on in the stage.
