Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team rider Kristof Vandewalle had a very good performance at the 24.1 Tour of Austria Stage 7 ITT on Saturday, finishing 3rd.
Fabian Cancellara (Radioshack-Leopard) set a blazing fast intermediate time of 11'22", and finished with a time of 27'56". Marco Pinotti (BMC Racing Team) finished 2nd, 22" back, and Vandewalle was 46" back.
OPQS rider Gianni Meersman also had a strong performance, finishing 7th (+1'06"). Bert Grabsch was 11th (+1'19").
OPQS looks next to a final 122.8km Stage on Sunday.
