Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team rider Dries Devenyns finished 9th in the final, 144.7km Stage 5 of Tour de Wallonie on Wednesday.
Greg Avermaet (BMC Racing Team) attacked near the final kilometer mark, winning the stage solo. He also won the overall, after getting a gap on Alexandr Kolobnev (Katusha) with his attack. Daniel Oss (BMC Racing Team) was 2nd, and Marco Marcato (Vacansoleil-DCM) was 3rd. OPQS was present near the front in the final 10km, including the Mur de Thuin (.5km, 9.4%).
Devenyns was also the top OPQS finisher in the GC, placing 11th (+30").
