Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team rider Mark Cavendish was 6th in the 180km 2nd stage of Tour of Denmark on Thursday. The peloton had to complete 3 final laps of 6.7km, and the race came back together with 4km and OPQS leading the chase.
Matti Breschel (Saxo-Tinkoff) was the fastest up the slight uphill finish, winning the stage. Marko Kump (Saxo-Tinkoff) was 2nd, and Moreno Hofland was 3rd (Blanco ProCycling).
OPQS looks next to a 200km Stage 3 on Friday.
