Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team rider Mark Cavendish finished 22nd in the 200km Tour of Denmark Stage 3 on Friday.
Stijn Vandenbergh was able to make a breakaway in the stage, but the race camed down to a group of five riders in the final. Despite several attacks by Lars Bak (Lotto-Belisol), Matti Breschel (Saxo-Tinkoff) was able to get the stage win out of the breakaway. Francsco Manuel Bongiorno (Bardiani Valvole - CSF Inox) was 2nd, and Wilco Kelderman (Belkin Pro Cycling Team) was 3rd.
OPQS looks next to a double stage day on Saturday — a 100km Stage 4, followed by a 12.3km Stage 5 ITT.
