Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team rider Alessandro Petacchi finished 5th a group of 11 riders who decided the finish in 176.9km Stage 2 of Eneco Tour on Tuesday. 

Arnaud Demare (FDJ) won the stage, with Philippe Gilbert (BMC Racing Team) placing 2nd and Tyler Farrar (Garmin-Sharp) placing 3rd. The 11 riders finished 5" ahead of others in the peloton. This is the second top 10 finish for Petacchi in two stages since his debut with OPQS.

Niki Terpstra attacked in the final kilometers, but was reeled in by the peloton as they also caught a breakaway of several riders with less than 3km to go in the stage. OPQS looks next to a 187.3km Stage 3 on Wednesday.
