Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team riders Pieter Serry and Dries Devenyns both finished in the top 10 of the 126.2km Stage 4 of Tour de l'Ain on Tuesday, in one of the chase groups behind two riders who decided the stage.
Serry finished 7th in the stage, while Devenyns was 8th. Wout Poels (Vacansoleil-DCM) and Romain Bardet (AG2R - La Mondiale) were the two riders who decided the stage out of an original breakaway. Poels won, with Bardet 2nd and a chasing John Gadret — Bardet's teammate — placing 3rd. Bardet's podium finish was enough for him to also win the overall.
Devenyns finished 10th in the GC, with Serry 11th.
