Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team rider Zdenek Stybar continues to battle with the top riders at each cyclocross race he enters. This time, he finished 5th at Azencross Loenhout on Friday.

Stybar was temporarily in the lead early on in the race, and even caught some big air on some short grassy ramps. However, with each passing lap it became increasingly difficult to catch back on with several riders continuously off the front. One of those riders was eventual winner — and current UCI World Cyclocross Champion — Sven Nys.

Nys had a 12-13 second gap with 2 laps to go, and that gap only grew until the finish line of a highly technical race.
