Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team rider Zdenek Stybar was determined to keep his "engine" going for his 4th straight cyclocross race on Sunday. The Czech Champion got behind a derny in the morning to keep his legs ready for the last cyclocross race of 2013: Superprestige Cyclocross Diegem — a night race.

Stybar finished 4th in a tough race where UCI World Cyclocross Champion Sven Nys escaped from the group almost immediately. Two riders — Tom Meeusen and Niels Albert — were the only two able to stay with him for much of the race. However, with just a couple laps to go Nys overwhelmed the competition and went on to win solo. Stybar did his best to finish in the top 5 and was successful, even after winning in Bredene the day before.
