The Omega Pharma – Quick-Step Cycling Team has officially announced the squad that will take part in the Trofeo Laigueglia in Italy next Saturday. "For a few years the team hasn't participated in this race" Sports Director Davide Bramati says. "The Laigueglia is a greatly traditional race and quite challenging in terms of altimetry. In the final the riders will have to take on the Testico climb three times; this is a climb with significant inclines. It will be a race for riders who are already in good shape. Everyone on our team is in a position to do well on a route with these features. Andy Fenn will also be in the race; he made his mark in Mallorca with two stage victories. We don't have any indications as to how he might perform on a route like this one. However in the past we've often come to the sprint with a group of 50/60 riders. If Fenn should make it over the Testico climb, the squad will work to set him up for the final sprint."
