The final day of the VDK Driedaagse de Panne-Koksijde started with a stage over 109 kilometres. A group of 5 riders animated the stage, but a bunch sprint had to bring the decision.
In that sprint Sacha Modolo (Lampre) took the win, he outsprinted Andrea Guardini (Astana) and Kenny van Hummel (Androni Giocattoli - Venezuela). OPQS rider Gert Steegmans finished 29th
Steegmans starts as leader in the final time trial later today. He defends a 3" advantage on Kenneth van Bilsen (Topsport Vlaanderen-Baloise). Niki Terpstra is 3rd at 5", Guillaume van Keirsbulck follows in 6th place at 9".
