OPQS rider Wout Poels finished 26th in 9.7km La Vuelta a España Stage 21 ITT on Sunday, which put him in 38th in the overall classification.
Poels finished 51" down in the time trial on Adriano Malori (Movistar), who won with a time of 11 minutes and 12 seconds. Jesse Sergent (Trek Factory Racing) was 2nd 8" down, and Rohan Dennis (BMC Racing Team) was 3rd (+9").
The biggest highlight of La Vuelta was a 1-2 day for OPQS in the Stage 10 ITT. Tony Martin won with a time of 47'02" over 36.7km, while Rigoberto Uran finished 15" down on his teammate in 2nd.
