Martin Velits and Matteo Trentin felt healthy enough to ride for two hours on Monday, just two days after both crashing out of Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. Velits did not race Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne as a safety precaution after his crash, but his injuries have not kept him off the bike.
Velits reported that his crash on Saturday was due to a wet section of road. He couldn't avoid the rider in front of him as a result.
