Etixx - Quick-Step rider Lukasz Wisnowski bridged to a two-rider breakaway, and then stayed away with Wouter Mol (Cyclingteam Join's-De Rijke) before they were both caught heading into the final kilometer of 198km Omloop van het Houtland Lichtervelde on Wednesday.
Jens Debusschere (Lotto Soudal) won the bunch sprint, with Timothy Dupont (Roubaix Lille Métropole) placing 2nd and Coen Vermeltfoort (Cyclingteam Join's - De Rijke) finished 3rd.
Fabio Sabatini was also a member of an earlier breakaway, but that action was caught with about 60km remaining. Gianni Meersman was also part of a chase group when another breakaway went up the road.
