Halfway through the competition, the two Dutch riders are on the podium, with 124 points and their chances of taking the overall win still intact.
Coming into the Six Days of Rotterdam as one of the main favourites for the victory, Niki Terpstra and Yoeri Havik were up there constantly, winning races and taking points every time they sensed there's an opportunity to do that. They did the same thing in the third evening of the event, one which was put to an end by the organizers earlier than scheduled, as a result of a crash in which Victoria Williamson and Elis Ligtlee were involved during the omnium. Now, the Etixx – Quick-Step cyclist and his teammate will go into the race's fourth evening lying in third position, with a total of 124 points.
General classification:
1 – Morgan Kneisky (Fra) – Christian Grasmann (Ger) – 71 points
2 – Kenny De Ketele (Bel) – Moreno De Pauw (Bel) – 139 points (+1 lap)
3 – Niki Terpstra (Ned) – Yoeri Havik (Ned) – 124 points (+1 lap)
