Amgen Tour of California race organizers officially announced on Tuesday the teams that will participate in the Amgen Tour of California, on May 13-20, 2012.
Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team is one of eight UCI ProTeams on the list, described as the "No. 1 ranked team in the world." Race organizers also mention that Levi Leipheimer is a three-time Amgen Tour of California winner. Leipheimer lists the race as his favorite on the team website.
