The janom logo will continue to appear on the sleeves of the team kit after the two parties have extended their collaboration for the 2017 and 2018 seasons.

A sponsor of the squad since 2012, janom is a Slovakian private equity company active in the field of cleantech, hi-tech, IT and electromobility in Europe and North America, that targets unique technology solutions and fast growing opportunities. janom also supports synergy effects and cooperation among its investee companies in order to actively contribute to their growth and expansion.

janom pays attention mainly to technological and innovative businesses with a strong focus on ecology. The company's projects are spread out in various places around the world and people of various nationalities work on them. Guided by strong principles such as experience, knowledge, stability and duration, janom stood by Etixx – Quick-Step's side as the team cemented its status as the peloton's most winningest outfit, with more than 200 victories in the past four years.

Jan Miskovsky, the CEO of the Slovakian company, talked about the new contract, which will see janom feature on the jersey of Etixx – Quick-Step beyond 2016: "Janom and Patrick Lefevere's team are two strong brands, which over the years grew together with spectacular results. The team is a great door opener as it contributes to creating a good name of the company and building the trust of the Slovakian company abroad. It is an excellent and successful tool. When 30 top riders wear your logo in the top world events, it tells its own tale. Today I am convinced that the decision I took five years ago was a wise one. Without this kind of marketing we would not win our way abroad that fast and wouldn't be where we already are with our activities."

"I am very pleased with this deal. janom is an important sponsor, focused on renewable energy, which is very important for the present and the future of our world. Having janom on board for two more years makes me very happy. In many regards, our team and the company of Jan are very similar: both are ambitious, enthusiastic and look towards the future. I hope this partnership will continue for many more years and will result in many beautiful things", said Patrick Lefevere, Etixx – Quick-Step's CEO.
