The Belgian company has extended the agreement which goes back to the 1990s.
A world leader in the manufacturing of latex components for the bedding industry, Latexco stood by the side of Patrick Lefevere's cycling project for more than two decades and is now preparing to support the team he runs for the 24th year in a row, with the same unwavering commitment and passion.
As one of the oldest and most reliable sponsors in the world of cycling, Latexco witnessed a plethora of memorable victories scored by the Belgian World Tour team and will continue to do that in the forthcoming season, while heightening brand and corporate awareness through the sponsoring of Etixx – Quick-Step and by adorning its logo on the squad's jersey.
"For a company like Latexco is important to have a great connection between our product and cycling, a sport which not only that we love, but that is also an important tool for promoting our brand around the world. We are very proud to be part of this incredible team, who took more than 50 victories in 2016, with the icing on the cake being the gold medal in the World Team Time Trial Championships. With this season now over, we are already looking forward to what we hope to be a successful 2017, both for us and the team", said Carole Maes, the company's Managing Director.
Patrick Lefevere, Etixx – Quick-Step's CEO, was also delighted to extend this fruitful partnership: "Latexco is our most faithful sponsor and I can firmly say that we have a special bond with the Maes family, who's been part of our team for many years now. It's very important for Etixx – Quick-Step to know that we can count on reliable and strong sponsors, while at the same time bringing our contribution to their development."
