Everybody is aware how the Quick-Step Floors riders came into the sport or what are their biggest results to date, but few or none know what movies and music they enjoy, or where they like to spend their holidays. Here's your chance to find out all these.
Favourite movies: “Pulp Fiction”, and I don't think I need to go into details why. It's an absolute masterpiece! Also, I really dig comedies, especially the ones involving Will Ferrell.
Favourite music: Rock, man! Hundreds of bands, it's difficult to name them all. From Smashing Pumpkins and Pearl Jam to Alice in Chains and Def Leppard, one of the best rock bands of the '80s. Actually, all rock music from that decade is top!
Favourite food: I love Italian, pizza particularly. Many people don't know, but I have German roots and this made me love German cuisine and German beer too. Can't name out a single dish, I really like everything.
Favourite holiday: Probably one of the best holidays I've ever been on was in Rarotonga, a breathtaking volcanic island in the Cook Islands. It happened a couple of years ago, and I can tell you that everything about it is idyllic: small island, great people, white sands, amazing scenery.
Hobbies: Well, I like to work with my hands, so I'm into mechanic stuff, everything that's bike or car-related; I find this very relaxing. Apart from that, I like to play the bass guitar, which isn't a secret anymore.
