Everybody is aware how the Quick-Step Floors riders came into the sport or what are their biggest results to date, but few or none know what movies and music they enjoy, or where they like to spend their holidays. Here's your chance to find out all these.
Favourite movies: That would be "Shawshank Redemption", "Braveheart" and "Gladiator". All instant classics and meaningful movies which you just enjoy watching over and over again, because they are so great.
Favourite TV Series: There's a pretty long list, so I'll just name a few: "Blacklist", "House of Cards" and "Game of Thrones". Not only they keep you on the edge of your seat, but they really help you kill time in a training camp or in the evening during stage races.
Favourite music: Red Hot Chili Peppers and Dire Straits are among my favourite bands. Doesn't need to be while warming up ahead of an individual time trial or any kind of race for that matter, I'll take them anytime, as their music is really something. Besides listening to music, I also love playing the guitar and the piano, although it's been some time since the last time this happened.
Favourite holiday destination: I love Zanzibar. Was there some time ago and I found fascinating and beautiful everything about it: splendid beaches, really chill atmosphere and a breathtaking blue ocean. I also love the mountains and like skiing, but it isn't something that you can enjoy during your time as a pro, so I'll leave it for when I'll be retired.
Other sports I follow: Everything! I like to watch all kinds of sports. From athletics, where I support the likes of Usain Bolt and Allyson Felix, to football, where I'm a fan of Manchester City.
