The village located in the Anzegem municipality will play host to one of the final Belgian races of the year.
Scheduled on Tuesday afternoon, the 85th edition of Textielprijs Vichte will provide the platform for a fast, frantic and spectacular race, which will await the riders with a 12.5-km long circuit that will be covered 14 times for a total of 175 kilometers, and at the end of which the sprinters are favourites to prevail, that is if the race won't be split to pieces as a result of the various skirmishes.
Tim Declercq, Dries Devenyns, Przemyslaw Kasperkiewicz, Iljo Keisse, Davide Martinelli, Pieter Serry and Martin Velits will line out for Quick-Step Floors – the winningest team of 2017 so far – at the start of the one-day race which last season was won by Julien Vermote after a solo attack in the final five kilometers.
