Dario Cataldo was the top finisher in the 16.5km Tour de Romandie Stage 5 Time Trial on Sunday, taking 17th for Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team.
The drama of the race involved stage and overall winner Bradley Wiggins (Sky Procycling), who won with a time of 28'56 despite a bike change. He bested Andrew Talansky (Garmin-Barracuda) by a second. and Richie Porte (Saxo Bank) by 17 seconds. He also overtook Luis Leon Sanchez (Rabobank) for the yellow jersey. Talansky took second (+12") in the general classification, and Rui Costa (Movistar) finished 3rd overall, 36 seconds back.
Cataldo was also the top finisher in the GC, finishing in 48th place overall.
