The 87th edition of the Belgian event is scheduled this Tuesday.

Textielprijs Vichte – one of the last appointments before the World Championships – will provide the platform for a fast, frantic and spectacular race, which will await the bunch with a 12.5-km long circuit that will be covered 14 times for a total of 175 kilometers, and at the end of which the sprinters are favourites to come out on top, that is if the race won’t be ripped apart as a result of the various attacks that are sure to be launched by those trying to avoid a bunch gallop.

Leader of the team victory ranking with over 60 victories under the belt since the beginning of the season, Deceuninck – Quick-Step will look to continue its impressive run of results on home turf this time, at the race which we have won with three different riders in the last three years, the most recent to take the spoils being Florian Sénéchal.

The 26-year-old Frenchman won’t be on the line, as he is taking part in Okolo Slovenska this week, but our team won’t be short of options, as we’ll field experienced Fabio Sabatini and promising stagiaires Samuel Gaze and Jannik Steimle at the start of tomorrow’s race.
