Get to know better the youngest member of the Deceuninck – Quick-Step team.
We thought a lot of what we could tell you about Remco Evenepoel that hasn’t been said already. We thought of telling you more about how he wrote history by winning Clasica San Sebastian or how he mastered the time on his Specialized Shiv and conquered the gold medal at the European ITT Championships – maybe his most emotional victory since turning pro.
But then we had another idea: why not give the word to the protagonist, the young wolf who hit the ground running and got off his career with Deceuninck – Quick-Step to a spectacular start, surprising even those who were aware of his huge potential? Because there’s more to Remco than just being the rider who has won five races this season and established himself as one of the peloton’s biggest talents.
At the end of the day, he’s just a normal guy, with simple needs. Of course, he likes winning (who doesn’t love that?), he is ready to help the team whenever necessary, and is always open to learning, but one of the biggest challenges he faces is when he’s craving for an ice cream – which happens quite often, we can tell you that.
