The team’s riders and management will be equipped with the brand’s travel bags and day packs.
Among the products that the team will use is the Cycleur de Luxe “Ventoux” cycling/travel-pack, which has been chosen as it is ideal for light-packing and fast-moving, and can be carried as duffel, messenger bag or technical backpack, and is weather and travel-proof. It also features air mesh ventilation back panel, adjustable shoulder straps, expandable compartments, padded lab top sleeve, security pockets and a unique reflective brand logo tire stripe, with night vision functionality.
Clearly delighted with this new bag, Deceuninck – Quick-Step’s Pieter Serry said: “When we are on the road and travelling as much as we do, it is really important that we have a really nice bag, as we carry our lives around with us. I was really surprised when I was handed my Cycleur de Luxe “Ventoux”. It is really practical with lots of pockets and practical features, as well as looking stylish and feeling really well made.”
These words were echoed by Patrick Vanneste, founder and brand director of Cycleur de Luxe: “Since 2012, our rich cycling and fashion-culture of Belgium has ever been the inspiration angle to design and develop Cycleur de Luxe fashion shoes and cycling bags. To team up with one of the world’s best cycling pro teams in Deceuninck – Quick-Step will further push barriers for development inspiration and brand exposure among cyclists around the globe. We are excited about this venture and look forward to the racing season with Deceuninck – Quick-Step and Cycleur de Luxe.”
