Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team once again worked at the front to bring back a breakaway in the 170.7km Ronde van België. Unfortunately, once again Andre Greipel proved the strongest sprinter, beating Danilo Napolitano (Acqua & Sapone) and Jacopi Guarnieri (Astana Pro cycling) to the line on Thursday.
Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team started to establish position in the final 3km as all riders were caught on a flat stage. However, Greipel established good position in the final kilometer, sprinting up the middle for the victory.. Gert Steegmans was the top finisher for Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team, in 16th place. Andy Fenn is the top ranked rider in the GC, in 25th place (+20").
