There’s a reason why fans love Milano-Sanremo so much, despite being a long procession for almost 300 kilometers: it always delivers the most intense, thrilling, and adrenaline-filled finale of the whole season, from the foot of the Poggio until the closing meters on the Via Roma, where one rider gets to raise his arms high in the air as he tastes victory on the longest race on the calendar.
In 2019, an amazing teamwork of his Deceuninck – Quick-Step teammates propelled Julian Alaphilippe to an unforgettable victory, and the Frenchman returned at the start last August backed by a strong squad and motivated to be again a protagonist and light up the race.
By this point now, with Christmas knocking on the door, we’re sure that you know what happened there, but our film brings something extra, which we’re confident will be much to your liking: some never-before-seen, behind-the-scenes footage of the team from that hot Saturday afternoon.
