Ready to go behind the scenes at two of the most important one-day races of the season?
Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, even though you had a perfect race and did everything right when it mattered. It’s just how things go in sports, and especially in cycling, where the line between sheer jubilation to disappointment is thinner than many believe.
This was also our story at this year’s Flèche Wallonne and Liège–Bastogne–Liège, where Deceuninck – Quick-Step’s Julian Alaphilippe entered as one of the main favourites and lived up to his status, featuring in the business end of both races.
