Four-year agreement after previous successful cooperation.
After a brief absence from the international cycling peloton, Renson will once again be seen as a partner in the race, from 2022. The trendsetter in ventilation, sun protection and outdoor living signed a new deal for the next four years as co-sponsor of the most successful team in the World Tour peloton. Renson thus returns to the team where it took its first steps in cycling sponsorship from 2013 to 2015.
The Belgian company Renson is a manufacturer and trendsetter in ventilation, sun protection and outdoor living. With its focus on innovation and international development, the family business led by CEO Paul Renson has become one of the fastest growing companies in Europe. But Renson is also gradually gaining a foothold outside this area with its all-in solutions for healthy and comfortable living. With major markets in the UK, USA, Australia, China, India and the Middle East, it now covers all seven continents worldwide.
In order to underpin this international growth and the ambition contained in the 'Creating Healthy Spaces' baseline worldwide, Renson will return to international cycling in 2022 as a partner of the Deceuninck – Quick-Step cycling team. Renson is convinced that both the team and the vision behind it are the ideal platform to boost its global brand and product awareness.
Paul Renson (Renson CEO): “With this new agreement, we are returning to elite cycling, as a partner of the strongest team in the world with a healthy ambition and the will to win every race. Renson is a thoroughly Belgian company with an international reputation. We can certainly relate to these elements of this Belgian team and the convincing ‘stamp’ it is putting on the increasingly international impact of cycling. Cycling also has a lot in common with the attitude at Renson, where the strength of the team depends just as much on individual commitment and strong cooperation.”
Patrick Lefevere (Deceuninck – Quick-Step CEO): “I am of course very excited about this agreement with Renson as a new partner. Headquartered in Belgium, it is an extremely important player in its field. We share the same roots with many of our other sponsors. Like them, we want to use our presence in the international cycling peloton to give Renson that extra push to strengthen its brand awareness and market share.”
