The Belgian beer brand stays with the team for the next two years.

Since 2019, Maes has been one of the official partners of the Wolfpack and now they have agreed on a new deal until the end of 2023. The core values of Maes perfectly match those of the team, with the Don’t Drink and Drive campaign rolled out at the beginning of the year – which had the riders as examples and ambassadors of sensibilization to not drink and drive and to raise awareness on road safety – serving as testimony to this bond.

Everything comes back to #MatenMakkersMaes and #EntrePotesCestMaes, meaning good mates take care of each other and have fun together with a cold Maes. This also corresponds to the close mateship between the members of the Wolfpack. That’s why Maes and the team will remain mates for another two years.

Etienne Bachellier, Marketing Director of Maes, talked of the continuation of this partnership: “Cycling is such a beautiful sport. It’s really part of our Belgian heritage, bringing together a lot of people. Being a partner of one of the best cycling teams in the world is just fantastic and we didn’t hesitate for a second when it came to renewing our contract. The Wolfpack is one strong pack of friends, that’s also what our core value is all about: friends are stronger as a group. We’re looking forward to having more actions in the next two years.”

Patrick Lefevere, CEO of Deceuninck – Quick-Step, was also delighted: “Maes perfectly matches our team’s identity. Our strength is that everybody always gives their all for the team, each person in the team takes care of each other and nobody gets left behind. This mateship is also what Maes represents. Remaining partners for two more years is great and gives us a lot of pleasure.”
