French Champion to take a period of recuperation.
Rémi Cavagna underwent surgery Monday on the L1 vertebrae that was fractured following an accident that took place during our team training camp in Spain last week.
We are pleased to report that the surgery, which was carried on at Hospital IMSKE Valencia, was successful. Rémi will now take a period of recuperation and continue to be monitored by doctors.
Deceuninck – Quick-Step would like to thank the surgeon, Dr Gerd Bordon, and the staff at IMSKE for their care, and wish Rémi the best for his recovery.
