Each year the global children's charity Right To Play organise a bike ride for people to experience the Tour de France, cycle hundreds of miles and raise thousands of pounds for the charity. Last week Andy Fenn of Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team joined the riders on their 300 mile ride from Liege to London for first day (riding 120 miles) of the three day ride after watching the Prologue.
Recently crowned Irish Road Race Champion, Matt Brammeier, was also due to join the ride and cycle with his father who was taking part but had to change his plans to ride in the Tour of Austria. Andy and the 130 riders had a fantastic time and so far the ride has raised over £100,000 for Right To Play who use sport and play to change the lives of children in the developing world.
