Our feeder squad took its 15th victory of the season in style, after a great collective effort.

Soudal Quick-Step Devo Team came out on top at the Belgian TTT Championship following a superb ride that gave absolutely no chance to their opponents on the 47.3km course in Montenaken, a small town in the province of Limburg.

Comprising Lars Craps, Siebe Deweirdt, U23 Giro d’Italia stage winner Gil Gelders, Warre Vangheluwe, Jonathan Vervenne – Belgium ITT Champion, and at the same time, the most successful rider of the squad this season – and Jordi Warlop, Soudal Quick-Step Devo Team enjoyed a flawless start that put them in control at the first checkpoint, where they already had a one-minute lead.

The six continued at the same furious pace and kept increasing their advantage all the way to the finish line, where they arrived together after averaging a stunning 52.87km/h – which saw them take the victory by more than a minute and a half.

“We worked hard for this race, which was one of our goals for this year. The boys prepared in Lommel prior to this weekend, and we are incredibly happy that it paid off today, when they produced a perfect race. The fact that all six came home in the same time makes this victory even more special, we are very proud of them”, said team manager Bart Roosens.
