The final 120km stage of Tour de France — part spectacle, part race — included a three rider break that stayed away until the final kilometers, and finished with Mark Cavendish (Team Sky ProCycling) sprinting for victory from several hundred meters from the finish.

Kevin De Weert was the top finisher for Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team, in 38th place. Peter Sagan (Liquigas-Cannondale) was 2nd, and Matthew Goss (Orica-GreenEDGE) was 3rd in the sprint finish.

Bradley Wiggins (Team Sky ProCycling) won the overall. Chris Froome (Sky ProCycling) was 2nd, and Vincenzo Nibali (Liquigas-Cannondale) was 3rd. Peter Velits was the top OPQS GC finisher, in 27th place.

The final stage of the Tour de France caps off three weeks of hard racing for OPQS. Dries Devenyns also celebrated his birthday today.
