The peloton kept things controlled in the final 30km, making sure no attacks got away and ensuring a sprint finish in the 205km 2nd stage of Tour de Wallonie.
Nikolas Maes was the top finisher for Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team, in 19th place. Tom Boonen was at the front multiple times, and Niki Terpstra tried an attack with less than 25km to go.
Danilo Napolitano (Acqua & Sapone) won the sprint. Davide Appollonio (Team Sky ProCycling) was 2nd, and Romain Feillu (Vacansoleil-DCM Pro Cycling Team) was 3rd.
