Fabio Jakobsen’s journey with Soudal Quick-Step has come to an end at Binche-Chimay-Binche, after six unforgettable years, hundreds of races and more than 40 victories for the one they call – not without reason – the “Hurricane of Heukelum”.
But it’s not a goodbye and given our special bond with Fabio, it will never be one, as every time we will meet in the peloton in the future, we will know we won’t be facing an opponent, but a good friend who has and will always have a place in our hearts.
