Soudal Quick-Step celebrates its 11th win of the season.

Leander Van Hautegem is on a roll! The talented Belgian just picked up his third victory in the last five weeks, after another impressive ride. After winning Klimkoers Herbeaumont and Dwars door Wingene, the 21-year-old from Oudenaarde now prevailed at Hel van Voerendaal.

The 163.1km race was a lively one, characterised by many attacks that split the peloton, leaving a group of some 30-odd riders to fight for victory in the final 20 kilometers. Among them, two members of the Soudal Quick-Step Devo Team, including Van Hautegem, who entered the final kilometer in a perfect position thanks to a big effort of Lars Vanden Heede and showed his remarkable speed, beating Robin Orins (Lotto Dstny Development Team) and Rindert Buiter (VolkerWessels Cycling Team).

“I have no words! I wouldn’t have dreamed of taking three wins in just over a month, it’s incredible! I want to thank the team, because without them and their incredible support, this wouldn’t have been possible. I am proud I could finish it off after what has been a demanding race. We will continue to work hard, show the same determination and hopefully score some more good results before the season ends”, said a happy Leander.
