Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team rider Tom Boonen was in position just behind the Team Sky ProCycling leadout training in the final kilometer of 165km Tour of Denmark Stage 6. Andy Fenn, who was 2nd in the short stage sprint on Saturday for OPQS, was also in the mix. Two riders had managed to escape earlier in the stage, but were brought back with more than enough distance for teams to start setting up for yet another bunch sprint.
Despite the position of OPQS in the final kilometer, nobody could best Mark Cavendish (Sky ProCycling), taking the win in the final stage on Sunday.
Matteo Pelucchi (Team Europcar) was 2nd, and Greipel was 3rd. Fenn was 4th.
