Levi Leipheimer could be the first stage race winner for Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team, as he holds a 46 second general classification (GC) lead going into the final stage of Tour de San Luis on Sunday. Stage 7, a 167.1 km circuit race, is very much one for the sprinters. Each lap has a category three climb, which is likely not enough for Alberto Contador — who sits in 2nd on the GC — to contest the leader's jersey with an attack.
Expect Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team sprinters Francesco Chicchi and Tom Boonen to go for the stage win, if there is a bunch sprint finish on Sunday.
The race begins at 2:43 p.m. ART.
