Biography of Bas

Just 24 years of age and hailing from Tilburg, Bas has been involved in cycling since the age of 11, when his parents bought him his first race bike. He later followed the bicycle mechanic course at Koning Willem I College in Den Bosch, and during his studies, he started working at a bike shop in road bikes and mountain bikes. Bas was first introduced to the profession of cycling mechanic in 2017, and just two years later, he made it to World Tour level, and last year he joined Soudal Quick-Step.

In his free time, Bas enjoys riding his bike and experimenting with his Rocket Espresso machine, which he recently acquired.
