Biography of David

David Geeroms inherited the love for cycling from his family, who are truly crazy about the sport. He himself used to race on elite level (as an amateur) until the age of 29, before becoming in 2008 soigneur on the continental circuit. As of late 2019, David is working full time for Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl, the team he had been working for on an independent basis since 2016.

One of his all-time favourite races in the World Tour is the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, which finishes in his hometown, Ninove. Also on his list of preferred races are Grand Tours, Ronde van Vlaanderen and Paris – Roubaix.

David is married and has two daughters. In addition to his family and work as a soigneur, sport in general is his main passion, with cycling and football the disciplines that stand out. He likes to keep in shape by going for a jog or a nice bike ride.
